Web design and development
A website build that starts with search architecture and page structure, not with a template. WordPress, Shopify or hand written code, delivered as a fixed price project with a staging link from week one.

Why most redesigns do not move the needle
A redesign changes how a site looks. It rarely changes why the site was not working. If the old site ranked for nothing, the new one usually ranks for nothing too, because nobody changed the page structure, the internal linking or the words on the page.
I start every build with the question the redesign brief usually skips: what do people actually type when they want what you sell, and does your site have a page that answers it. The layout comes after that has an answer.
That order is why a client of mine went from PageSpeed 41 to 94 and page four to page one in the same project. The visual work mattered. It was not the part that moved the ranking.
What a build actually includes
A page and URL structure mapped to search intent before any design starts. Semantic HTML with one H1 per page, real heading hierarchy and content that is present in the source, not injected by JavaScript after the fact.
Core Web Vitals treated as a requirement rather than a report you read afterwards. Modern image formats, sized and lazy loaded, fonts that do not block rendering, and no plugin added without a reason.
Accessibility to WCAG AA as a baseline: keyboard navigation, visible focus, contrast that passes, touch targets that a thumb can hit. This is not a nice extra. In several markets it is a legal exposure, and Google reads the same signals.
Analytics, Search Console and conversion tracking wired up on launch day so the first month produces data instead of guesses.
Choosing the platform
WordPress when the client will publish regularly and needs a real editor. Elementor Pro or Bricks depending on how much control the team wants and how much weight the site can afford to carry.
Shopify when there are products, inventory and a checkout to protect. WooCommerce when the store is small, the catalog is odd, or WordPress is already the center of the operation.
Hand written static or React when the site is mostly fixed content and speed matters more than a CMS. A brochure site does not need a database, and a database it does not need is a maintenance bill and a security surface.
If you already have a platform and it is fine, I will keep it. Migrating for the sake of it costs you rankings and buys you nothing.
Working with an existing site
About half of what I do is repair. Slow load times, broken mobile layouts, forms that silently fail, hacked installs, plugin conflicts, checkout errors that only appear on one browser.
I audit first and tell you honestly whether the site is worth keeping. A structurally sound site with bad content is a copy project, not a rebuild, and it costs a fraction of the price. I would rather say that and keep the relationship than sell you a build you did not need.

Common questions
How long does a website build take?
A focused five to ten page site takes three to five weeks from approved scope to launch. Ecommerce or multi location builds take six to ten. The variable is almost never my speed, it is how fast content and approvals come back from your side, which is why I ask for the content plan before we start.
Will I be able to edit the site myself?
Yes. On WordPress and Shopify you get an editor and a recorded walkthrough of the parts you will actually touch. On hand built sites I hand over the source and a short written guide. I do not build sites that hold you hostage.
What happens to my existing rankings when the site changes?
They are protected with a redirect map. Every old URL is mapped to its closest new equivalent with a 301 before launch, the sitemap is resubmitted, and I watch Search Console for the first month. Ranking loss after a rebuild is nearly always caused by skipping that step.
Do you provide hosting?
No, and that is deliberate. You should own your hosting so you are never locked to me. I will recommend and configure a host, and I work with whatever you already have, including Hostinger, Cloudways, SiteGround and Shopify.
Is the site mobile and tablet friendly?
Every build is tested at 320, 390, 768, 1024 and 1440 pixels as a matter of routine, which covers small phones through to iPad landscape and desktop. Tablet is where most templated sites fall apart, because designers check phone and desktop and assume the middle takes care of itself.
Want a straight answer about your site?
Send me the URL. I will tell you what is holding it back and what I would do about it, before you commit to anything.
